Hi, I’m Kelly 💛

Tales & Charms started as a creative outlet and quickly became something
even more meaningful as it grew. 

My journey into jewellery began after the pandemic. The same year I had
major heart surgery. My anxiety was high and I looked into and then made
myself, an anxiety bracelet. (Using crystals and lava beads so I could add
essential oils too)

People started asking where I’d bought it from, and before I knew it, I was
creating bracelets for others too.

Now, I create handmade crystal and bead jewellery, each piece thoughtfully
made with care.

My other love is children's story writing and poems. I've loved this since I
was a child. When I was around 11 I made up some characters, (the Buddies) I
wanted one for each letter of the alphabet. (I also created a rainbow town, but that's for later!) Some names have been tweaked ... But recently those
characters have come to life via my book 'The Buddies of Alphaville' designed
to spark imagination, kindness and confidence in children.

As a mum, I know how special the little things are, time together,
a cosy moment, being creative together, a story that makes a child smile and sometimes, a little gift
that's affordable but will bring a smile. That’s why you’ll also find a small
selection of handpicked books, gifts and little treasures, chosen as if they
were for my own family.

Things you see here is either handmade or carefully selected by me, with the
hope it brings a little bit of joy to you or someone you love.
